Where are The Dark Isles Located

Once a thriving world somewhere on the Prime Material plane, the small continent or large island was known by many as Arion. The land unstable to begin with was further compromised by a number of events that occurred within it's borders. In the last days of it's known existence it ripped itself apart. The land itself in an attempt to rid itself of it's taint destroyed itself. In a cataclysmic event it vanished from it's existence there. A curtain in the deep ethereal was torn and the land collapsed into the rift.

The Dark Isles exists now in its own demiplane which means it is simply separate from any cosmology. A self contained pocket dimension that hangs suspended in the deep ethereal plane.
In Manual of the Planes terms, The Dark Isles is a demiplane on the Deep Ethereal (as presented as an option on pg. 55 of MotP). The Deep Ethereal is a transitive plane connecting the Ethereal Planes of the multiverse. Essentially it is tucked away in a dark and unremarkable corner of the universe where no one can see it.
