The languages to the Isles are very specific to races and factions that exist here. They need to be RP'd actively in order to learn them, and require intelligence to do so. If you have a 10 Intel or lower you can speak only your native tongue and or common depending on the race your playing. Each additional language requires an additional 2 points in order to learn.
Languages will be added if deemed necessary on approval of races that do not currently exist in the islands upon admin approval, and posted here.
There are a few languages that are not learnable by the more common races,l because they do not have the vocal cords to even hit such pitches as these languages would require.

Current languages that are available are:
Animal (universal will be holding player discussion over its use and player ideas will be welcome)
Atlantian (sea nymphs)
Bugbear
Catling (universal for all catling races)
Dancer (dancer race)
Demonoid (all demon and infernal races)
Dragonic (dragons only)
Drow
Dwarven (universal for both Dwarven races)
Elven (all Elven races)
Giant
Gnome
Gnoll
Goblin
Halfling
Illithlid
Kenku (avarial races)
Latin (ancient language of the past, undead, do not meta this, universal for all undead)
Lizzard
Ogre
Orc
Seraphim
Sylvan (nymphs, pixies, not necessarily given just because you are druidical or elven)
Thieves Cant (level 5 and over, ask DM for the token, player character should RP into it)
Tribal Cant (Blood Clan barbarians of the realm)
Vasharan
Wolf
There are occasional circumstances where a player may be given an extra language when the RP requires so. This happens only when a DM deems the role-play suitable and the need for it is required, becomes an RP reward.
In the event that it does not come on your toon on creation please ask a DM for them. If you have the Intel a DM reserves the right to ask you why you need the language/s requested, and you will be expected to be give a reasonable IC background as to why you should have this. If you’re a common race please do not ask the DM’s for demonic, seraphim, or dragonic, it will not be given.
