It is with Sadness and a Heavy Heart that I must inform you all know that a Dear and Beloved friend of Ours for many years passed away this past Tuesday, August 7, 2012.

An In Game Memorial Service for the Player

~{Red Wings Of Doom}~

will be held Sunday August 19th, 2012 Between the hours
7 - 8pm Eastern/US (GMT -5:00)

Roy, I really enjoyed playing with you here on the Dark Isles these past years and it saddens me greatly that we shall not be able to continue doing so any longer.

Throughout our lives, we will meet so many that we call friend, but so very few that we will call family. red wings was not only a valued player, but a very close and dear freind... He was family to me and a good many that knew him, not only on the mod, but in real life, he was my brother by choice, and loved for everything he was.

A valued member of the server family, having been with us since day one, helping us test things to get it ready for you and everyone who has enjoyed what we have to offer. A kind soul willing to give the shirt off his back to help another, if he had it to spare, always met others with a freindly smile and a warm greeting.

Red Wings, we wil miss you, may the heavens open up and guide you to the light, and watch over you. Your spirit will live on through our cherished memories of you.

**With the passing of the archer.. the ranger of Greenedge, reminder to all who serve the cause.. Roden's monument stands proud and strong on it's pedestal, as he peers out for all eternity, over the Roseburrow Bay, ever guarding the elvenlands with a watchful eye.**

My best wishes to his family in the lost of such a importsnt person, he will be sorely missed as both friend and a roleplayer, my heart and best wishes to his family. . . .

Its taken me a long time to be able to read this thread let alone be able to see clearly enough to type. I'm still not doing well reading it now some months later and having to focus to type.

While I will miss the good times in the server I will forever miss the man more. Roy was one of the sweetest people I had ever had the privilege to not only play game - a mass of pixels and little more but in the real world break bread with.

The game can be turned off, walked away from but real friends - the people you call on when life kicks you in the belly and hurts you - those are few and far between. To those of us who knew him well; Roy was friend, no he was Brother. I miss him now but I would never, ever wish him back with us as unwell as he had become.

Dearest Roy,

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
